In 1701, the London Sephardim, Congregation Shaar Hashamayim, constructed their first synagogue at Bevis Marks. This three-part series looks at London’s Jewish development after the 1656 readmission and further development of the community. Monday 23rd May - From Readmission to Construction: What Happened From 1656 to 1701?
A weekly class given by Rabbi Shalom Morris. Starting an hour before the end of Shabbat, followed by Arbit and Habdalah. This term we will be focusing on Pirke Abot and moving onto Rosh HaShanah. 28th May through 11th June - Pirke Abot 18th June through August - Rosh HaShanah
